Seattle Spots I Want My Friends to See

When friends ask what they should see in Seattle, I picture a mix of classic views and small everyday places. I want them to experience the skyline from the water or a lookout, walk through busy markets and quieter residential streets, and feel how close the city is to nature. Even a simple plan, like grabbing coffee, walking along the waterfront, and ending at a viewpoint, can show a lot about what makes Seattle special. I like the idea of building a little tour that reflects how I actually live here, not just a checklist of famous landmarks.

I’m especially excited to share places connected to food, books, and wandering. That might mean a favorite café where I study for MBA classes, a bookstore where I browse new titles, or a neighborhood with a mix of restaurants I want to try. I think the best way to get to know a city is through small moments, like talking with local shop owners or noticing how people spend a Sunday afternoon. Creating a list of Seattle spots for friends helps me see the city with fresh eyes and reminds me of why I chose to build this chapter of my life here.

  3. I like the idea of building a tour that reflects how one actually lives in Seattle rather than just checking off famous landmarks. That mix of classic views, everyday neighborhoods, and small moments like cafes and bookstores might make the city feel more personal and authentic when visiting.
