Atlanta

On my trip to Atlanta, I leaned fully into the classic tourist experience and started with the city skyline. Walking and driving around downtown gave me a feel for how modern buildings, historic spots, and busy highways all fit together. I liked seeing the skyline from different angles, especially as the light changed during the day. In between walks, I visited a few of the must‑see attractions that most first‑time visitors explore, and I paid attention to how everything felt from a visitor perspective: signage, crowds, and how easy it was to find my way around.

Like most trips, food was an important part of my Atlanta visit. I tried some popular local spots and classic comfort foods, and I noticed how different neighborhoods had their own vibe and pace. Being in a new city, even for a short time, gives me a mini reset and reminds me how many different ways people build and organize their lives. This kind of travel also feeds my curiosity as a future Business Analyst, because I naturally watch how spaces are designed, how people move through them, and what seems to make experiences feel memorable or frustrating for visitors.

  1. Hi Shreya,
Your Travel Journal is definitely over all interesting! And I liked how you are observing more than what meets the eye in terms of design and how it is experienced by the visitors 🙂
